The Sullivan County Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) is a is a division of Indiana state government that exists to help the residents of Sullivan and surrounding counties with soil & water conservation, as well as provide education on various agricultural topics.

Sullivan County SWCD’s mission is to promote conservation and wise management of our natural resources.

Upcoming Events

Indiana Master Naturalist Course - Begins January 3, 2024 at the Sullivan Co. 4-H Fairgrounds. Cost is $50 per person and the course runs from January-March.

Annual Meeting 2023-24 - February 26th at 6 PM at the Sullivan Civic Center. Tickets are $10 for adults and include dinner and raffle tickets for door prizes.

2024 Arbor Day Tree Giveaway

Join us April 26th for our Annual Arbor Day Tree Giveaway from 12 PM to 4 PM at the USDA Service Center. Trees will be Pecan, Persimmon and Chesnut Oak.
