Kennedy Gofourth

Kennedy serves as the District Coordinator for Sullivan Co. SWCD. A recent graduate of Indiana State University, Kennedy earned her Bachelor of Science in Geography and Sustainability in May 2024. Her deep-rooted passion for environmental conservation stems from growing up along the Wabash River, where she developed a lifelong appreciation for nature. In her role at the SWCD, Kennedy leads efforts in conservation education and outreach, empowering the Sullivan community to adopt more environmentally friendly practices. She organizes educational programs, community events, and partnerships to promote sustainability and resource conservation. An enthusiastic gardener and plant lover, Kennedy brings her love of growing and cultivating to her work, inspiring others to engage with their environment. Her vision is to create opportunities for people of all ages to connect with nature and contribute to a healthier, more resilient community.

Laura joined us in 2013 as our Watershed Coordinator. Laura graduated from Franklin College with a degree in Biological Sciences. Along with Sullivan County, she also works on other watersheds/ 319 grants in Greene, Clay, Owen and Knox County.

Allison McKain

ISDA Resource Specialist

Alli joined the SWCD in 2015 as the Sullivan SWCD District Coordinator. After working here for 5 years, Alli took a position with ISDA as a Resource Specialist covering 4 counties in Southwest Indiana, including Sullivan. Alli resides in Sullivan County with her husband and two boys. In her free time, Alli is very active in Indiana Farm Bureau’s Young Farmers and Ranchers Program.
